Liberty student caught with gun at school

Metro Police are reporting that an 18-year-old student at Liberty High School was taken into custody this afternoon for gun possession.
Apparently, the student’s younger brother took an unloaded handgun on a school bus this morning. The Liberty student found the gun and took it from his brother. Later in the day, the boy was found with the gun at Liberty High School. The student had no intention of using the gun, according to police.
The young man is charged with gun possession and his little brother has been suspended from school.
