Flight attendant arrested; allegedly drunk on plane
12:36 PM EDT on Monday, August 6, 2007
LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- A flight attendant was arrested in Lexington after being escorted from a plane because she was allegedly drunk.
Atlantic Southeast Airlines, the carrier operating the Delta flight on Sunday, confirmed Monday that a flight attendant was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence, alcohol intoxication and terroristic threatening.
Delta officials canceled the flight from Blue Grass Airport to Atlanta because there weren’t enough crew members, but passengers were given the option to board other flights, said Kate Modolo, spokeswoman for Atlantic Southeast Airlines. The airline would not release the attendant’s name.
