LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS 11)--Almost three years after the loss of a Bellarmine Alumni, friends, family and staff there are coming together to remember Ryann Tewell.
Ryann was 24 when she was killed in an accident near the Second Street Bridge but the outpouring of love from the community has kept her spirit alive.
In 2016, more than 500 people came out for the inaugural Run for Ryann.
Funds from the Run for Ryann will go to an endowed scholarship in Ryann's name for a student who transfers to Bellarmine.
The Run for Ryann is coming up on April 8.
