Plane slides off runway at Clark Co. airport, no injuries

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – All passengers are safe after a plane slid off the runway at a southern Indiana airport Sunday.

According to the Clark County Sheriff, a King-Air small plane slid off the runway while attempting to take off from the Clark Regional Airport around 12:30 p.m.

There were 10 people on board but no injuries were reported.

Authorities said there was some damage to the wing of the aircraft.

Officials are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
