LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The NFL’s first openly gay player drafted by a team will deliver the keynote speech during the University of Louisville’s Pride Week.
Michael Sam will speak at the November 3 event on U of L’s campus.
The program is free but tickets are required to get in.
Sam’s keynote speech will address his journey and lessons he learned from his mentors.
The St. Louis Rams drafted Sam in 2014 but is now a free agent.
