NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WHAS11) -- Today a New Albany church is offering a look at what it is like living in parts of sub-Saharan Africa while raising money for a good cause.
From 9 a.m. to noon, Trinity United Methodist Church will host its first Water Walk at the New Albany riverfront.
This is a 1K and 5K event aimed at bringing awareness to growing problems of HIV/AIDS and clean water shortages in Africa.
The event costs $5 for students and $20 for everyone else.
