Man who crashed in Audi parking lot appears in court

He's accused of driving erratically and causing damage to an expensive car.

LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) -- Police say Vincent Simmons followed another woman in her car into the Bluegrass Audi dealership lot Tuesday.

He's accused of driving erratically and causing damage to an expensive car.

Police say he refused to follow instructions when they arrived so they evacuated the lot and blew out his tires. That's when Simmons tried to drive off. He then crashed into a car valued at more than $70,000 before he was taken into custody.

The judge released Simmons on home incarceration, revoking his driving privileges.
