LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The man accused of shooting a Shively Police officer in January is out of jail.
Kenneth Probus posted bond and was released on Friday. He is now on home incarceration.
Investigators say Probus shot Shively Officer Wes Singleton several times when police went into his home.
He maintains he thought it was intruders who kicked in the door to his Eden Lane home and fired his gun.
Probus is set to go to trial Oct. 11.
Officer Singleton did survive the shooting.
