LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) -- Julius Friedman was an artist like no other. He influenced many, including some of Louisville's youngest residents.
Friedman, who passed away this summer, often made donations to the Lincoln Performing Arts School, and today students showed their appreciation with a special memorial.
Students from kindergarten to fifth grade performed for members of Friedman's family and the arts community as well as gave their own interpretations of Friedman's artistic creations.
"He loved children and he loved being here so it's an honor for me that they're doing this," his sister said.
