Local non-profit empowers girls with 4th annual tea

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Kentuckiana nonprofit Called Beautiful as you Are is celebrating young girls Saturday with its fourth annual tea.

During the tea the group will celebrate its participants and seek to improve self-confidence.
The organization was started by Tish Frederick of New Albany after her daughter was facing bullying and low self-esteem.
The tea is open to the public and will take place from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Bigelow Hall on UofL's campus.
