Kentucky to start sending horses to China

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS 11)--Kentucky will soon start trading horses with China for the first time in two years.

Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles will hold a news conference Monday to celebrate the signing of the trade accord.

It's a collaboration between the Kentucky Department of Agriculture and several other groups.

The announcement will happen at 1 p.m. Dec.4 at Keeneland.
