JCPS school board will need new chairperson

LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) -- The JCPS school board will need a new chairperson.

The current chairman, Chris Brady, announced at Tuesday night's board meeting that he was not going to stay in the position after the first of the year, but will be staying on the board.

He told the board that he has pressing family matters and needs to be home more.

Brady's been a JCPS board member since 2013 and was elected chairman this past January.
