Clark Co. gets funding for needle exchange program

CLARK, Co., IND. (WHAS 11)--Clark County has secured much-needed funding for its needle exchange but more money is needed to keep the program going.

The county is getting $7,000 from the Health Foundation of Greater Indianapolis that will be used to purchase supplies.

So far, eight counties in Indiana have been approved by the state for needle exchange programs.
