LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Survivors of gun violence will gather to share their stories and discuss the growing impact of violence during the last 15 years.
Monday’s event will honor the 1,000 killed and more than 2,000 wounded by gunfire in Metro Louisville from 2003 to 2017.
The event was organized by the Respect Project.
The survivors’ stories will be told at the Chestnut Street YMCA at 12th and Chestnut at 6 p.m.
