(WHAS11) - We've been taking a look into the WHAS11 News archives for our Friday Flashbacks.
We first did this in November and back then, we had viewers asking to see a young Paul Rogers.
Rogers was the talk of the town; a 25-year-old sportscaster among giants.
Rogers' sportscast in 1976 is full of stories about people like Muhammad Ali and a hang-gliding story from the Red River Gorge.
Paul drove there to film it himself.
We asked Paul to take a break from WHAS radio and come back to the station to look at this newscast.
He remembers that night and tells us what it was like to be hired right out of UK by the legendary Cawood Ledford.
