Free naloxone training in Jeffersonville

CLARK COUNTY, Ind. (WHAS11) -- The Clark County Health Department has new sessions on how and when to administer naloxone.

The first session is tonight at 7 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church on East Market Street in Jeffersonville.

At the end of the program, intra-nasal naloxone kits will be given to each participant who is uninsured or low-income. There will also be information on where over-the-counter naloxone is available in Clark County.

The event is free and open to the public.
