Fire at apartment building in Clifton damages 2 units

Fire crews respond to Clifton apartment fire

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The Louisville Fire Department believes the cause of an apartment fire in Clifton Heights was an unattended barbecue grill. 

Firefighters responded to an apartment fire on River Crest Court around 6:30 p.m. Dec. 20.


Only two units were affected by the fire, but several residents in other units have been displaced. 
The Louisville Fire Department said they were able to evacuate all of the residents safely, and no one was injured in the fire.
