Toyota presented award for maintaining vehicles owned by Metro Louisville

(WHAS 11)--The city of Louisville presented Toyota with an award for helping them maintain the vehicles used and owned by Metro Louisville.

Toyota's non-profit division began work at the vehicle fleet yard from April to June of 2014.

The company helped reduce the vehicle backlog by 37 percent.

It also reduced fleet vehicle repair time by 75 percent.

As a result the city awarded Toyota with the corporate Award for Partners in Government Performance & Innovation.
