LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A southwest Louisville tradition is returning this fall after a brief hiatus.
The Southwest Community Festival returns to Sun Valley Park on October 8.
The festival attracts an estimated 15,000 people but was canceled last year because of lack of volunteers.
Organizers say this year’s festival will be better than ever.
The free festival features special areas for toddlers, kids, teens and seniors.
There will also be a car show, live music from the Monarchs and food booths.
