LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The success continues for Broadway in Louisville as they gear up for their 2016-2017 season.
The founder and president of Broadway in Louisville are being featured in the fall issue of The Voice of Louisville, focusing on the history of the series in Louisville.
President Leslie Broecker says they broke a subscription record last year and they're already close this year.
The season kicks off in November and gets into full swing in January, and this year there's something for everybody.
"The Illusionist is funky. The Illusionists are on Broadway in the house Harry Houdini performed in, so I think it's great that we're getting sort of that tradition and something a little bit not Broadway, a funky quasi-new show to the market for everyone to be able to see,” said Broecker.
Other shows include "The Sound of Music,” "The Little Mermaid" and "Kinky Boots."
Season tickets are still available.
