LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Kentucky Attorney General Andy Beshear is taking steps to stop human trafficking and partnering with the Truckers Against Trafficking Coalition.
The partnership will offer more training to the state's commercial drivers and truck stop employees to recognize and report human trafficking. Beshear said he wants all new drivers seeking their CDL to receive the training.
This is just one of several partnerships the attorney general has created to stop human trafficking. His office is also working with people in the hospitality industry, firefighters, EMS and local health departments.
