LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A very special car is traveling the country to raise support for military members.

The car is a Mustang, but it's no ordinary Mustang -- it's covered with messages of gratitude to the country's veterans and their families.

The car and trip are part of the Wounded Warrior's High Five tour which stopped at several area Sport Clips Haircuts locations.

People are able to write a note on the car and leave a donation for the Wounded Warriors Project.

100 percent of the money is going to two deserving Wounded Warriors to build custom built homes for severely wounded vets called "smart homes."

WHAS11 spoke with one owner who's also a veteran and he said it's a project very close to his heart.
