LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)-- The reward continues to grow for information about a Kroger employee gunned down in the parking lot of the store where he worked on Hubbards Lane.

The city of Woodlawn Park is now adding $5,000 to the cause in hopes of finding Jack Combs' killer.

“Even though he didn't live in our city it's still a loss to the community,” said Mayor Mike Brown.

The total has grown to $30,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction. Police are hoping the mounting money will motivate someone to come forward to help them catch the killer.

“Jack worked there for 18 years. I think we all want to see an arrest,” said Brown.

If you know what happened call St. Matthews Police at 502-893-9000.
