LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Katrina Pride, 46, was left for dead after being hit by a car on Sunday night.
Pride walked from her mother’s apartment earlier that evening. She was headed to the Salvation Army on Brook St, where she had been temporarily staying. The accident happened somewhere in between, but her family doesn’t know much else.
“They tell you that you can get a police report, but they can’t tell you anything, and it’s gonna take 7-10 days to get that,” Tracy Biddix, Pride’s sister said.
MetroSafe confirms an officer called in the accident, but the police report has not been finished. In the meantime, Pride remains sedated, unable to speak for herself and her family is asking anyone with information to come forward.
“We really need to know. We're begging, if you know anything, you saw anything, we need to know,” her mother Willy Pride said.
On Monday, Pride remained in the intensive care unit. Anyone with information can leave an anonymous tip at 574-LMPD.
