Louisville, Ky. (WHAS) – A $300,000 home in the Norton Commons now has a new owner.
Warren Shelton of Louisville brought a raffle ticket to support Kosair Children’s hospital and his generosity paid off.
Shelton’s son called him to let him know he was the big winner.
“He asked me if I was sitting down and I said yes, I’m in the car. And he said you won the house. I said what house. He said the house you took a chance on and I told him he was joking,” Shelton said.
Sunday afternoon, Shelton toured his three-bedroom, two-bathroom house with his wife.
Now that reality has finally sunk in, Shelton says he and his wife have to have a serious conversation about what to do with the house.
They say they could sell it or give it to their son.
