LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Eggheadz is giving downtown Louisville a double dose of their popular Mexican fare. Soon there will be a Wild Eggs at Floyd and Market Streets for breakfast and brunch.
There will also be a new restaurant-- Wild Rita’s on Market Street for lunch and dinner.
“It's going to be hip and happening, with everything going on Market Street and NuLu and all those developments. We wanted to be a part of it,” said Eggheadz Lauren Henson.
Today WHAS 11 was the very first to learn their projected grand opening dates.
“We are going to open Wild Eggs downtown on Monday January 27th; one week later we are going to open up Wild Rita’s on February 3,” said Henson.
If you're looking for work in the new year, they do have open positions.
“Right now we are accepting applications at Wild Rita’s for all positions Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Market Street Location.
To apply for positions at the Wild Egg’s, stop by the Westport Village location from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.,” said Henson.
There are more businesses popping up locally. A Five Guys restaurant going in the building which previously housed a Hwang's Martial Arts Studio on Shelbyville Road.
Near the Gene Snyder on Shelbyville Road, developer GBT Realty recently released plans online for the ‘Middletown Commons.’
The 32 acre site will soon be a shopping center with stores opening in late 2014.
