LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville man is dead and police are searching for suspects after he was stabbed to death leaving a club Saturday night.
Louisville Metro Police responded to a report of a stabbing at the intersection of Clay and Broadway streets around 10:30 p.m. When officers arrived at the scene they said they found the body of a man who had been stabbed.
Forty-year-old Wallace Harraway was transported to University of Louisville Hospital, police said, where he died during surgery around 11:35 p.m.
Harraway has a lengthy criminal history in Jefferson County. He was arrested more than 60 times on drug, assault, arson and theft charges - he was let out of jail 10 days before his death.
Louisville police said they are investigating his death as a homicide but have no suspects at this time.
