We are still several days away from the snow chances late Sunday into Monday, but it's quite interesting what the weather models are dishing out right now. Some, like the NAM model below is showing areas of 6-12", mainly along and north of I-64.
The next weather model map is the same model, but the calculations were done about 6 hours later, notice the big shift in amounts. This model is showing a bit less between 2-6".
The last map is the GFS weather model, calling for 4-8", again mainly along and north of I-64. Notice how quickly the snowfall amounts on all the models shut off the snow amounts quickly south of Louisville. This could be a big snow-maker for southern Indiana.
Nothing is certain at this point, but be sure we are keeping a close eye on the snow chances late Sunday into Monday.
