Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - A water main break sent water several feet into the air Wednesday afternoon.
The break happened at about 2 p.m. on Shelbyville Road near Johnson Road in far eastern Jefferson County.
The water company is still repairing the break.
Traffic has bypassed the leak,while only one lane remains shut down.
The water company does not know at this time how many customers are affected.
