(WHAS11) - After several people have been bitten, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources tells WHAS11 News they do plan to put up warning signs at Hardy Lake in Scott County.

The bite marks are visible on the victims, though no one was seriously injured.

What's biting swimmers is still a mystery.

However, fish and wildlife suspects it's a catfish protecting its nest.

Officials say they have been searching the lake since swimmers started reporting bites but they haven't found anything yet.
