LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- On Tuesday, the WHAS Crusade for Children debuted its new graphic look for the charity's 61st year.
"Every year we've added an element that depicts caring or we've tried to play up the anniversary," Lonnie Walker, the graphic artist, said.
Walker presented the Crusade's 61st year logo to the charity's CEO Dawn Lee. Lonnie said he wanted to bring a sports feel to the overall look.
Walker said he was going for "an image that would translate well not only to pins, merchandise and staff shirts, but kind of give them a team-building look once the logo gets out and is used in a broader sense."
This is the fourth year that Lonnie has created the Crusade's yearly logo.
Check the Crusade website, www.whascrusade.org, in the next few weeks if you'd like to get a sweatshirt or cap with the new logo.
