Vote on new Fairness Ordinance in Frankfort

(WHAS 11)--Prohibiting discrimination in employment, housing, and public accommodations based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

August 26 a second reading and vote on an Anti-Discrimination Fairness Ordinance will be held in Frankfort.

The Fairness Ordinance will be voted on by the board of commissioners during their meeting at 5 p.m.

If it passes it would make Kentucky’s capital the fifth city in the state with these protections joining Louisville, Lexington, Covington, and Vicco.
