LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The woman killed in an accident on the Clark Memorial Bridge Wednesday was identified Thursday.
The coroner said Carolyn Strickler, 25, died as a result of blunt force trauma from the injuries she sustained in that accident.
Strickler, who lived in the 1100 block of Mallard's Crossing in Louisville, was pronounced dead just after 12:00 Wednesday afternoon.
The bridge was closed for nearly two hours. Only one car was involved in this accident.
According to the KYTC a temporary railing was constructed and all lanes were reopen.
The view from SKY11 showed the car's rear passenger wheel hanging off the side of the bridge.
