CANEYVILLE, Ky -- Police have identified the man killed in an accident Tuesday morning in Caneyville, Ky.
According to a news release from the Kentucky State Police, a Honda Civic driven by 27-year-old Steven Puckett was driving eastbound on Ready Jackson Road when it collided with a Pontiac G6 driven by 25-year-old Danielle Preston at the top of a hill.
Police say Puckett, who is from Falls of Rough, was killed instantly as a result of that head-on collision.
Preston suffered injuries to her lower extremities and was transported to The Medical Center in Bowling Green by Grayson County EMS.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
