LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The victim who was shot to death outside her home in the 2900 block of West Madison Street Saturday night has been identified.

32-year-old Antoinette Finch was shot dead in front of her 16-year-old son after police say a fight broke out between Finch and people inside a vehicle just before 10 p.m in the parking lot of where Finch lived.

Finch's husband also witnessed the shooting and tried to resuscitate her after she was shot, but Finch was pronounced dead on the scene.

On Sunday dozens of Finch's family and friends held a candlelight vigil in her honor. Family members describe Finch as a loving mother who was always the life of the party.

Finch's family says during the course of the last few weeks, she received threatening messages.

There are no suspects or arrests and police have not confirmed whether Finch's murder and the threats are related.

Police say several people were in the area when the deadly shooting happened and are hoping witnesses come forward.

If you have any information on this case, you are asked to call 574-LMPD

Funeral arrangements for Finch are still pending.
