“We’re thrilled to welcome Valero as a new sponsor of our kick-off event. What a great way to help celebrate Thunder’s 25th show,” said Kentucky Derby Festival President and CEO Mike Berry. “Major corporate sponsors like them help us keep Thunder the largest single-day event in the Southeast.”
The Kentucky Derby Festival also unveiled a new logo for this year’s 25th show. The new image retains the traditional Thunder font and lightning bolt treatment, while showcasing a silver number 25, shining above the city’s skyline. Faint fireworks behind the 25 highlight the fireworks celebration.
