LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The mold found in three dorms on the University of Louisville's campus is being blamed on moisture. It's growing on the wooden wardrobes.

During a routine inspection, the school found mold in Threlkeld, Miller and Unitas Halls.

The estimated cost to clean up the mold could be $500,000 but the university says all dorms will have new furniture and will be safe for students by the time they move in on August 21.
