LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)-- Officials were optimistic at a ceremony held today to introduce a partnership between the UofL Foundation and NTS Development Company to top off a new building at the University’s Shelby Campus.
UofL President, James Ramsey, said the announcement marks another day that will “go down as a landmark in the history of the Shelby Campus.”
The building will join the 600 North Building as prime office space on Hurstbourne Parkway on the campus.
Louisville Mayor, Greg Fischer, said the addition is an example of the city’s success.
“This research park out here will be a poster child for our city’s acceleration towards innovation,” he said.
The construction is set to be completed in May 2014.
