LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Students are now beginning to move in to the new housing and restaurant complex near U of L.
The welcome signs were out on Monday at Cardinal Towne and the Cardinal Bird also made an appearance.
The 30,000 square foot facility is home to apartments, shops and restaurants.
Crews were putting finishing touches on the outside of the building on Monday as well.
It's located at Third and Cardinal streets where Masterson's restaurant was torn down; it had been there for 70 years.
