What do you think of the photos featured in ESPN The Magazine's Body Issue?

(WHAS11) -- Athletes are baring it all  for ESPN Magazine's Body issue. The magazine hits racks Friday, and inside are two faces you might recognize around Kentuckiana. Louisville's Oksana Masters is getting ready to compete in rowing at the Paralympic Games. She is one of 27 athletes featured in the buff for the magazine.

"It definitely has made me feel more comfortable in my skin," said Masters during a phone interview with WHAS11 News. Throughout the pages athletes strike poses with their bodies strategically positioned. Another familiar face is Kentucky Derby winning Jockey Mike Smith.

WHAS11 News took the pictures to the streets to find out what people think.

"Strong is beautiful, and it gives you something different to look at," said Felicia King.

" I don't really get why they're doing it," said David Moeschl.

Masters says her reasons were personal.

"I did the photo shoot for myself and kind of for the bigger picture," said Masters. She told WHAS11 News she wanted to break that stereotypical mold of what people think is beauty.
