DANVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- A Los Angeles man who shouted anti-abortion slogans from atop a tree during the vice presidential debate in Danville says he plans to hold a rally in the central Kentucky town.

The Advocate-Messenger (http://bit.ly/RTsB4v ) also reported Wednesday that the charges of disorderly conduct against 47-year-old Rives Grogan have been dropped.

Grogan tells the newspaper he plans to hold an anti-abortion rally Saturday in front of the Boyle County Courthouse in Danville.

He says he is a minister who has been arrested up to 30 times for protesting abortion and gay marriage.

A few days before the debate Oct. 11, Grogan had been arrested for running across the field during a Cincinnati Reds game.
