Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - We are less than two weeks away from the Kentucky Derby and the Derby horses are arriving at Churchill Downs.

The Derby 2010 early favorite Eskendereya arrived at Churchill Downs Tuesday afternoon, leading a contingent of six Derby horses for trainer Todd Pletcher.

And late word is there could be an Oaks filly moved to Saturday, for a Run for the Roses.

The filly Devil May Care, considered a Kentucky Oaks favorite, will work this weekend and then a decision will be made. She could be the only filly in the 2010 Derby.  And trainer Todd Pletcher could break the record for the most Derby horses.

Pletcher has been trainer of the year four times and has saddled 24 Derby horses, but has never won the roses. He'll saddle six this year including Mission Impazible, the fifth favorite after winning the Louisiana Derby. He’ll also saddle Rule, Interactif, Discretely Mine and Arkansas Derby runner up, Supersaver.

But there could be one more, number seven could be the only filly considering a move from Friday to Saturday; Devil May Care.

That would give Pletcher one third of the field.

Six horses, maybe seven, out of 20. That is a tribute to Pletcher’s ability when you consider there were 37,000 thoroughbreds in the crop three years ago.
