(WHAS11) - A Louisville husband and wife decided that if they were going to volunteer for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Kentuckiana, they were going all out.

So, one mentors a Little Brother, and the other a Little Sister.

This two-year match also had an unusual interruption; the couple had to move out of town for awhile.  But when they came back, they picked up with the same young people, like nothing had happened.

They are one happy family; you could call them a Big Brother Big Sister happy family.

If you want to help a young person become a great adult, the organization needs your help as a volunteer. So they are staying late again tonight...they are by the phones right now in Louisville to get you started. You will talk to a real, live person!  Call  1-877-588-2300.

Kentuckiana is responding to the 400 Wanted Campaign; to get matches for the 400 kids on the waiting list by the end of the year. Check out 400-wanted.com
