The411: The National Quartet Convention announced today that former US Attorney General, John Ashcroft will be their keynote speaker for their 2011 Convention held in Louisville, KY.
Ashcroft will also sing several Gospel songs that he's written and he will be accompanied by Greater Vision. Ashcroft served as the 79th US Attorney General during the first term of President George W Bush from 2001 until 2005. Previously, he served as the 50th Governor for the state of Missouri, as well as a US Senator. Ashcrofts’s father was an Assemblies of God minister, and also served as president of several Christian colleges. There will be plenty of opportunities to see Ashcroft on Thursday, September 15th.
The 2011 National Quartet Convention will be held at the Kentucky Fair & Expo Center the week of September 10th.
