LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Two teens are behind bars, accused of robbing an Okolona gas station at gunpoint.

It happened at the Speedy Mart off Blue Lick Road the day after Christmas.

Police say Terrel Watters, 19, and a 16-year-old walked into the store around 8 a.m. and demanded cash.

“One of them fired a round above the employee into the wall,” LMPD Sgt. Eric Black said.

“She was shaken, actually she's scared to death,” Tony Taher, a clerk said.

Taher said the woman didn’t show up for work on Thursday and quit instead.

Police arrested the teens after they allegedly robbed someone else on New Year’s Day in the Sixth Division.

Taher said the two only got away with a couple hundred bucks from the Speedy Mart.

The two are also connected to at least three other robberies in Jeffersonville and West Point, Ky.
