LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The man at the center of a warrant that ended in a deputy involved shooting turned himself in to police.

Christopher Smolik was wanted on a child support warrant out of Trimble County.

The deputies attempted to serve the warrant to Smolik at the Bluegrass Mobile Home Park on Tuesday, March 11, but the man who answered the door, Albert Keyes, ran from police. Keyes was later shot when he pulled out a knife in the parking lot of a HD supply.

Albert Keyes was wanted on another warrant and was the suspect in two bank robberies that happened in February. One was in Ohio and one was in Tennessee.
