LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – An update on the condition of UofL's star wide receiver DeVante Parker.

He underwent an MRI over the weekend on his shoulder after injuring it in Saturday’s game. DeVante Parker was seen leaving the UofL football facility on Monday, Oct. 7, with his right shoulder in a sling.

Charlie Strong says Parker is taking it day to day and will be a game time decision this Thursday, Oct. 10, against Rutgers after injuring that shoulder against Temple.

Of course with this week being a Thursday night game Strong believes it's a chance for the Cards to showcase their talents to the nation especially to the naysayers.

Strong said he believes he's coaching the best team in the country and he's been telling them that since the preseason.
