FRANKFORT, Ky. (WHAS11) – The state is making it easier for students to send their transcripts to colleges and universities in Kentucky.

Lt. Governor Jerry Abramson and education officials are teaming up to participate in an e-transcript program.

It will allow high school seniors to send electronic transcripts to Kentucky schools and some outside the state.

Jefferson County will be the first to make the system available district-wide.
