The outpour of support continues as organizations are stepping up to pitch in with relief efforts in Haiti.
Southeast Christian Church says its plans to send these supplies to its partners who are stationed in the Dominican Republic.
Since the call to their congregation Sunday morning, they say parishioners have donated items like water and canned goods.
“When a disaster happens, this community and this church steps up and knows that we need to help and we need to do whatever the folks that are there that are telling us needs to be done,” said Deborah Ward, Team Leader, Local Outreach.
Southeast Christian says some of the big supplies that are needed are tents, formula and medicine like Tylenol and Advil.
