LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- One of Louisville’s largest church organizations plans on getting a bit bigger in the coming months.
The Southeast Christian Church reported a plan to purchase the Crestwood Station Shopping Center, in effort to expand the church’s Oldham County Campus that opened in January 2011.
Initially, the Oldham campus had seating for 800 people for a service. The church has been hosting five different weekend services and a total crowd of 3,000.
The Southeast Christian Church, currently, has four locations. The main campus near Blankenbaker Parkway in Jeffersontown, the Oldham County campus, a Jeffersonville campus and a campus under construction near Saint Andrews Church Road in Louisville.
